Biography

Lori Collingsworth is a Tax Principal with over 22 years' experience providing tax, compliance, and consulting services to tax-exempt organizations. Prior to joining Rogers & Company, she worked as a Tax Senior Director at BDO, LLP. Lori oversees all aspects of the firm's tax compliance and information reporting including preparation, review, and quality assurance review of tax returns. She has provided a wide array of business advisory services to associations, foundations, and other exempt organization, including transactional structuring, UBIT considerations, lobbying and political activities, fund-raising and solicitations, international operations, joint ventures, IRS audit assistance, private letter rulings, intermediate sanctions, and private foundation operations and terminations. She is a licensed CPA in Virginia and Washington, DC, and is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, and Greater Washington Society of CPAs. She graduated from Texas Tech University with an M.S. in Accounting.
