Biography

Jorge Diaz is an Audit Principal with 17 years' experience providing audit, accounting, and advisory services to a variety of associations, charities, foundations, professional societies, and other exempt organizations. Prior to joining the firm, he worked in the nonprofit services group at RSM McGladrey. Jorge's experience includes overseeing financial statement audits under both U.S. and international standards, Uniform Guidance, and governmental standards. He also oversees grant audits for various foreign agencies, benefit plan audits, and agreed-upon procedures. He provides business advisory services to his clients in areas including internal control structure, accounting policies and procedures, contracts and grants management, and governance matters. Jorge holds a B.S. in Accounting and Information Systems from Virginia Tech University. He is a licensed CPA in Virginia, and a member of the American Institute of CPAs, the Greater Washington Society of CPAs, and the American Society of Association Executives.
