Biography
Tom is a long-distance runner and speaker. He started running while in law school. After completing a half marathon he entered a 103 mile run in the French, Italian and Swiss Alps and became fascinated by major running challenges that tested both his body and mind to the limits. The furthest Tom has run in one go is 145 miles. His longest multi-day run was from Land's End to John O'Groats; he ran the 862 miles in 15 days, 18 hours and 18 minutes.
Tom spoke at the 2022 UK & Ireland Meeting, in Colchester, Essex.
Session Outline
Tom will take you on a journey to build goals with purpose. We will explore setting goals around what's important to you and the different types of goals that will help you get to your desired destination. This will be done with some tales from the trailers and all in a light hearted way. Tom argues he is the unlikely athlete, with limited natural ability, but by using goals he has developed strategies to run long distances that we can all use in our business and lives.
