Investing in Tomorrow’s Leaders: Helping to Shape the Next Generation
25 August 2026
Developing future leaders is essential to the long-term success of every professional services firm, and Bowman & Company (Bowman), Alliott Global Alliance’s (AGA’s) CPA firm in Stockton, California, continues to invest in its people as part of its long-term approach to leadership, career progression, and staff retention.
The firm provides emerging professionals with opportunities to strengthen their technical, commercial and leadership skills, gain wider experience and prepare for greater responsibility within the business.
Daryl Petrick, Partner at Bowman and AGA Accounting Chair, comments:
“Our people are central to the continued success of the firm. We want talented professionals to see a clear future with Bowman and to have access to the training, support, and opportunities they need to progress. We send a large number of people to the AICPA Engage national conference each year and support the growth of their technical skills and personal development to help them become effective firm leaders.
“Investing in our future leaders strengthens our teams, enhances the service we provide to clients both locally and internationally, and helps ensure that the firm is well positioned for long-term growth.”

Highlighting this commitment, four Bowman professionals — Lisa Dominguez, Michael Anselmo, Grayson Moyer, and Sydney Cranston — recently participated in the Alliott Global Alliance Academy in Athens alongside colleagues from member firms around the world.
The programme gave them the opportunity to develop their leadership and communication skills, explore topics including teamwork, business development, AI and personal brand, and exchange ideas with professionals from different countries and business cultures.
By supporting multiple employees to attend the Academy, Bowman is investing not only in individual career progression but also in the long-term growth of the firm. The chance to learn, collaborate and build international networks forms part of Bowman’s wider approach to nurturing talent, helping its people broaden their experience, contribute to the future direction of the business, and see a clear pathway for progression.
Providing meaningful career opportunities is also an important part of attracting and retaining talented professionals in an increasingly competitive market. Bowman’s continued investment in its people demonstrates its commitment to building a strong and sustainable firm.
Sydney Cranston, Audit Manager at Bowman adds:
“The Academy was a great opportunity to step outside my day-to-day role, build new skills and learn from professionals from around the world. It’s also a good example of the support Bowman gives us to broaden our experience and build connections internationally. I’ve been able to bring new ideas and perspectives back to the firm, which has been really valuable.”
AGA’s Academy, which takes place twice a year across the EMEA and APAC regions, forms part of the Alliance’s wider commitment to supporting AGA firms in developing exceptional talent. By bringing together future leaders from across its global community, the programme equips participants with the confidence, skills and international mindset needed to thrive in an increasingly interconnected profession.
