26 October 2026
Alliott Global Alliance (AGA) is delighted to announce that Alex Vrahos has joined its Asia Pacific Regional Advisory Committee.
Alex is a Partner at Baumgartners, AGA’s accounting representative in Victoria, Australia. He provides strategic tax and business advisory services to privately held businesses, high-net-worth individuals and families, drawing on extensive experience with complex corporate structures and multinational organisations.
As one of the world’s fastest-growing global alliances, with 240 accounting and law firms across more than 100 countries, AGA’s regional committees play a vital role in its governance, representing member firms’ interests and helping to shape regional strategy in consultation with the Board and Global Executive Office.
Representing Australasia on the Committee, Alex commenced his three-year term on 13 October, succeeding David Baumgartner, Founder and Partner at Baumgartners. During his tenure as the region’s representative, David played a pivotal role in strengthening the Alliance’s presence across Australasia, supporting its growth and fostering closer relationships among AGA’s representative firms.
The appointment comes at a time of significant regional growth, with AGA now providing legal, tax, audit and accounting services through 45 offices across 20 countries in Asia, Greater China and Australasia.
Working alongside the Regional Chair and Zone Managers, Alex will help shape the Alliance’s strategic direction, provide valuable insights from Australasia and contribute to initiatives supporting the region’s continued development and the growth of the wider global alliance.
AGA Global CEO Giles Brake said:
“We are delighted to welcome Alex to the committee- the dedication and energy he has brought to AGA over the last few years has been exceptional. His extensive experience and understanding of the accountancy market gained while working overseas at large global firms and back home in Australia at medium sized firms, offers us invaluable perspectives.
“I am confident Alex’s involvement will drive forward AGA’s mission to support professional services firms seeking growth opportunities and the resources and relationships needed to stay relevant in a fast-changing global market. We look forward to collaborating with Alex in the years ahead.”
Reflecting on his appointment, Alex commented:
“It is a privilege to join the Asia Pacific Regional Advisory Committee at such an exciting time for the Alliance.
